NZTE is a Crown Entity established under the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Act 2003. It is also subject to the Crown Entities Act 2004. These acts are publicly available from the Public Access to Legislation website.
NZTE publishes the business expenses of its Chief Executive on a six monthly basis, as required by the State Services Commission (SSC). You can view these on the Chief Executive's expenses page.
In 2011 NZTE participated in a formal review, as part of the Performance Improvement Framework (run by the State Services Commission, the Treasury and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet).
