The global education opportunity

The global corporate training market alone is worth around US$19 billion each year.
How NZTE helps education businesses
Through our network of offices around the world, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) works to generate international sources of revenue for New Zealand education companies. We market the industry internationally and identify commercial opportunities for New Zealand companies in overseas markets.
NZTE works closely with Education New Zealand and the Ministry of Education to advance New Zealand’s international education interests. In 2006 NZTE signed a five-year Service Agreement with Education New Zealand to maintain and grow the education export industry. Under the agreement:
- NZTE investigates international opportunities for New Zealand education organisations in the international corporate, industry and government markets including joint ventures, developing collaborative models and supporting the development of offshore campuses.
- Education New Zealand promotes New Zealand as a student destination and assists the recruitment of individual students
- Education New Zealand has access to NZTE resources overseas to help carry out its activities.
