Good market research will pay a large part in determining the success or failure of your export activities. Choosing the best country, or countries, to export to requires a thorough evaluation of the pros and cons associated with various markets.

Ways of doing business varies between countries, regions and even states. You also need to take into account the unique characteristics of each industry. Often export success comes down to experience and personal contacts, which take time. Especially in a country you are unfamiliar with.
