Dublin is the largest city and capital of Ireland. It is an economic, administrative and cultural centre and has one of the fastest growing populations of any European capital city.

Living standards in the city have risen dramatically, along with the cost of living. Dublin has been listed as the fifth-richest city in the world, but is also one of its most expensive.

Many international firms have established major headquarters in the city.
