BUENOS AIRES: Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 will invest US$28 million in the airports of Bariloche and Cordoba.
Cordoba airport will have a new terminal with six gates and the central section of the original building will be demolished and rebuilt.
Works will also include building new offices, reconfiguring 5,8000 square metres of platforms and improving the runways.
When work is finalised, the International airport of Cordoba will have a 1,300 square metre boarding area for international flights and 1,500 square metres for domestic flights.
In Bariloche airport, refurbishments will focus on the runways and improving the terminal’s facilities without expansions.
