BUENOS AIRES: Milk production in Argentina is expected to increase by 3 to 5 percent to 10.8 billion litres on the back of investments made in 2010, according to local newspaper La Nación.
“Investments aimed at increasing the size of farms and improving the nutrition of the cows could lead to an extra 400 million litres of milk produced,” La Nación said.
Between 1999 and 2009, Argentina’s milk production stagnated at 10 million litres.
