Canadian authorities to release RFQ for healthcare software

VANCOUVER: Health Ontario and Infrastructure Ontario plan to release a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a diabetes registry/chronic disease management application and portal service in July with applications closing in mid-August.

This RFQ will allow these organisations to pre-qualify applicants. The Formal Request for Proposals is expected to be released in Fall 2009. The RFQ document will be available in July through MERX at www.merx.com.  

Interested New Zealand companies are encouraged to keep an eye on MERX.
