SANTIAGO: Chile’s government is targeting greater public sector efficiency and reforms in education and innovation to improve economic productivity, according to Chile Business.
Chile Business is the business magazine of the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce.
“Chile’s economy has been fuelled by their growth in the mining sector and in particular copper. However, this economic growth masks the reality that Chile has poor productivity in comparison to other developed countries,” Chile Business said.
According to Chile Business, the government’s focus on driving productivity is expected to provide opportunities for companies offering productivity solutions in the supply chain industry, back office operations, education and training.
