Malaysia's plans to shift to a mixture of diesel with five percent processed palm oil will be implemented in stages in several central states from June 2011, newswire AFP reported.
The Malaysian Plantation Industries and Commodities Ministry said that the implementation of the biofuel scheme would be discussed with petroleum companies.
AFP reported that the extra cost of the biofuel scheme would be borne by petroleum companies.
