MEXICO CITY: Software titan Microsoft expects to double its sales in South America over the next three years, the Reforma Newspaper reported.
Mexico and Brazil are the company’s largest customers in the region, with Argentina, Chile and Colombia among the fastest growing markets for Microsoft in Latin America.
“Microsoft's growth in Latin America is higher than China and the Middle East and Africa,” Reforma said.
“The rapid growth of Microsoft in Latin America is because the regional economy is on track and because the signing of free trade agreements among many countries, small and medium businesses have had to improve productivity to compete with China and have done so by investing in technology.”
