HANOI: PepsiCo will invest US$250 million over three years in Vietnam to develop manufacturing capacity and installing extra marketplace equipment such as coolers, AFP reports.
Over the past two years, the company has already invested in two new plants for food and beverages in southern Vietnam. One of the company's most visible products in Vietnam is its Aquafina drinking water.
In September 2009, PepsiCo’s competitor Coca-Cola unveiled plans to double its investment in the country to $400 million.
