BUENOS AIRES: The government of the Argentine province of Santa Cruz has signed an agreement with local energy companies to carry out a feasibility study to install a tidal power generation station.
The station would be located on the Patagonian Atlantic coast, and will cost an estimated US$150 million to build.
It is expected to generate 50 Megawatts of electricity.
