Single ASEAN visa proposed

MANILA: A single visa for 10 southeast Asian countries has been proposed by the Philippines. 

Similar to the European Union-styled visa, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) one would be a crucial component towards increased trade, investment and tourism.

Currently visitors need to get separate visas for each of the countries with the ASEAN group.
