WASHINGTON: The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) has released a report which summarises the renewable energy outlook in each of the states.
Titled Renewable Energy in America: Markets, Economic Development and Policy in the 50 States, the report is available online here.
ACORE President Michael Eckhart says the report has been produced for "busy officials, executives and professionals who need ready-access to information”.
“The US renewable market was approximately US$15 billion - US$20 billion in 2009 as measured by project financings.
"Despite the continuing financial crisis and related recession which slowed market growth, the US has experienced a five year renewable energy market growth rate of 24 percent, with much of that progress happening at the state and municipal levels,” Eckhart said.
