Wine boxes going premium in UK

LONDON: Wine producer Constellation Europe is launching Hardy’s Nottage Hill Cabernet Shiraz 2007 and Chardonnay 2008 in 2.25 litre boxes at a recommended retail price of £19.99 (NZ$45).

Penetration for wine boxes in the United Kingdom has remained at 10 percent for many years. If this works then Constellation will roll out the format for other premium wines
