SAO PAULO: Fifteen years after it left the Brazilian market, after its partner was acquired by Parmalat, Yoplait has plans to return.
The strategy will most likely include acquisitions and building new plants within Brazilian territory.
For this internationalisation process, Yoplait is looking for a robust partner with strong knowledge of not only Brazil but also other emerging countries.
The sale process of 50 percent of Yoplait's capital, which since 2002 has belonged to the investor group PAI Partners, has already commenced.
