The Mexican Ministry of Communications and Transport invested US$1.5 billion in the federal highways network from September 2008 to August 2009.
There are no direct flights between New Zealand and Mexico. All flights to Mexico have daily connections via Los Angeles or San Francisco in the US. Most international flights land in Mexico City and domestic connections anywhere in Mexican territory are available. Another possible route is through Santiago in Chile.
