Doing business in French Polynesia

French Polynesia is an overseas territory of France and a part of the French Republic.

It enjoys a high standard of living compared with other South Pacific island states, mainly due to French Government funds injected into the economy. Transfer payments from France represent around 35 percent of gross domestic product.

New Zealand’s main exports include chilled beef, iron or non-alloy steel, milk powder, sail and motor boats and timber.
