New Zealand Trade and Enterprise opened the centre in 2005 in partnership with private sector companies and other agencies, to facilitate trade opportunities in China, Hong Kong and the wider North Asia region for New Zealand exporters.
New Zealand Focus operates out of a 6,800-square-foot, three-level property showcasing New Zealand retail products, business, tourism and education. It is located in Hong Kong’s Causeway Bay, in the heart of Hong Kong’s busiest thoroughfare.
Retail and business showcase
Within the centre, special zones are dedicated to showcasing international education opportunities, immigration and leading examples of New Zealand’s specialised manufacturing.
Located on Level One is the retail area, designed for the promotion of New Zealand products and services in a branded environment. The retail operation is managed by an experienced Hong Kong-based commercial entity.
Located on Level Two are Air New Zealand, Immigration New Zealand and the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Air New Zealand provides a self-service online booking counter, while Immigration New Zealand and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong have service desks for enquiries. Generic New Zealand Education brochures and leaflets are also available here.
Meeting room and function venue
For New Zealand companies on short-term visits to Hong Kong, a meeting room and workstations are available on Level Two of New Zealand Focus. The space accommodates up to eight people.

The exhibition facility is also an economical option for New Zealand companies wishing to increase their profile in Hong Kong. The spacious Function and Display Area on Level Three is available to New Zealand companies interested in holding events, or for the temporary display of New Zealand goods and services.
Spaces are available to rent by hour, day, week or month, to a maximum of two months.
