NZTE’s Christchurch office is closed until further notice, as the building is currently inaccessible following Saturday’s earthquake.
Those staff who are able to will be working from home while we assess damage to the building, and will be in contact individually with the businesses they are working with to assess their needs, if any. This will be fed into a wider conversation with local business organisations and with the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology about what assistance we can collectively offer to help Christchurch firms get back in business quickly.
We suggest businesses that were considering visiting Christchurch review and revise their travel plans and avoid all non essential travel in and out of the city.
All calls to NZTE’s Christchurch office will be diverted to our main reception line for response.
