Together with Film New Zealand, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise will be taking part in the Busan International Film Commission & Industry Showcase, or BIFCOM, from 12 to 14 October, 2009.
Since its inception in 2001, BIFCOM has been held in conjunction with Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF).
As the largest film industry exhibition in Asia, BIFCOM will be stepping into its 9th year showcasing the latest filmmaking information and technologies. Around 70 exhibitors of industry professionals from 17 countries in the Asia Pacific region have been secured.
The three-day program will also feature presentations on technical issues and a seminar covering various topics of recent advancement in visual technologies with VFX, related software development, computer-generated imagery, digital imagery, 3D imagery, and virtual reality.
Note: Busan is an alternative spelling for Pusan.
