In April 2010, NZTE commissioned Redfern Associates, a Shanghai-based consultancy, to report on China’s meat market. This report was supplied to companies taking part in the Food and beverage mission to China in May of the same year.
The report includes information on the comparative volumes of meat imported into the country, distribution and value chains and the importation process.
