ANZ New Zealand and BCC, a company that specializes in locating funding for technology projects, recently signed a partnership agreement in which ANZ will support the BCC’s programmes to foster start up businesses and progress technology initiatives with commercial potential.
ANZ will also be a key corporate partner of the BCC‐led “Innovate 2012” competition, which aims to dramatically increase and encourage entrepreneurial activity and identify projects and people with commercial drive and potential in the Manawatu region.
Entrepreneurs will gain access to ANZ’s huge global networks including India, China, and Southeast Asia. Dean Tilyard, CEO of the BCC and went on to be quoted in the official press release as saying,
“It is going to take our ability to give advice and support to a whole new level. That is great for start‐up businesses, and to help foster innovation.”
