How Market Development funding works
NZTE will reimburse your business for up to half the total of the costs approved for funding.
Note that activities in the Australian market are not eligible for this funding.
Minimum and maximum amounts
The maximum amount of funding your business can apply for each year under the Market Development programme is $100,000, based on intended marketing activities costing at least $200,000. The maximum your business can apply for over the lifetime of your participation in the Market Development programme is $500,000.
The minimum amount of funding we can approve is $20,000, based on at least $40,000 of intended marketing activities.
