The Government announced on 01 October 2008 that the Incubator Support Programme run by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) will get a $1.8 million funding boost and that in future, funding support for selected incubators will be spread over multiple years. NZTE will consult with New Zealand incubators when designing and implementing alterations to the program.
