Hong Kong's role as the wine trading and distribution hub of Asia was boosted recently by the removal of duty on wine, making Hong Kong the only major economy to have no wine duties or sales tax.

Last year the New Zealand Pavilion included Coppers Creek, Te Motu, Kauri Vineyards, Twilight Vineyards, Mai Mai Creek (Stirling Wines), Brennan Wines, Drumsara, Domian Jaqueiry, Mebus Estate, and New Zealand Focus Centre.
