Linking policy

Here we explain the guidelines for linking to the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise website, using the NZTE logo and requesting links.

Guidelines for linking to the NZTE website

You are welcome to link to the NZTE website from your site. Our guidelines are:

  • When somebody clicks on the link they must see the NZTE site full screen and not in a frame. Framing violates copyright.
  • Your site must not misrepresent its relationship with NZTE. Do not refer to NZTE as a partner unless you have been given express permission to do so.
  • We recommend that you link to main pages only. The reliability of links to other pages cannot be guaranteed.

HTML for linking to our home page

Simply copy the HTML below into your page to create a text link to the NZTE home page:

<p><a title="New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) website" href="http://www.nzte.govt.nz/" target="_blank">New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) is the New Zealand government's national economic development agency</a>. </p>

Use of the NZTE logo

The NZTE logo is copyright and can only be used with permission. Please contact marketing@nzte.govt.nz to request permission.

Requesting a link on the NZTE website

The NZTE website is intended to present organisation information about NZTE and associated services. A limited number of links are provided on the web site, and no links are provided to commercial organisations. However, we will consider links to government sites, regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Email webmaster@nzte.govt.nz if you satisfy this criteria and want NZTE to link to your site.
