NZTE’s Regional Strategy Fund helps 15 regions throughout New Zealand improve the quality of their business environment through the implementation of regional economic development strategies.
Each of the 15 regions will established a governance group to develop and execute the region's economic development strategy. The Regional Governance group will then appoint an administrative agent to manage central Government funding.
The strategies developed by the Regional Governance groups will articulate clear actions across the economic spectrum and identify key partners for engagement in each area.
