International Education: a first class sector

Sector overview

NZTE’s education sector team focuses on building New Zealand’s capability to deliver education products and services to the corporate, industry and government markets.

Its competitive advantage in training, consultancy and research stems from achieving success in an array of specialist areas, including:

  • aviation
  • education reform
  • teacher education
  • tourism and hospitality

New Zealand’s strengths in these areas help develop and deliver customised solutions to foreign economies and businesses.

  • creating joint ventures with other international organisations
  • developing collaborative models for use throughout the industry
  • supporting the development of offshore campuses
