Regulations check

How do you know if your product complies with the relevant regulations in a new export market? And if the product does not comply, what do you need to do?

A regulations check from NZTE will help you establish whether your product or service will comply with market entry regulations and standards. We also outline solutions if the product does not comply. Our report may include the following:

  • samples, brochures and product descriptions submitted to the relevant authority
  • summary of relevant compliance requirements e.g. import/export licenses, quotas, phytosanitary/veterinary requirements, acts, standards, labelling and packaging requirements
  • copies of all relevant acts and standards where available
  • web links and web addresses for relevant compliance organisations
  • comment on known planned changes to regulations.
