A strategy to ignite the economic and cultural potential of the New Zealand music industry.
The Music Industry Export Development Group was appointed in July 2003 to recommend ways in which the New Zealand music industry and Government can work together in partnership to enhance the export potential of New Zealand music.
The key focuses of the Export Development Group were to develop a music export strategy, to address the issues inhibiting domestic growth and to set strategic goals for the New Zealand music industry.
