Chile and New Zealand: P4 Roadshows

New Zealand has recently signed its first multi-party free trade agreement with Chile, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam.

The Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (SEP) establishes a free trade area spanning Asia, Latin America and the Pacific and is expected to enter into force on 1 May 2006, after ratification by each Party on completion of its respective domestic processes.

A series of workshops were held in November 2005 looking at ways in which businesses can take advantage of New Zealand’s new trading relationship with Chile.
