Beachheads: Eligibility

Who is eligible?

The Beachheads programme is open to high-growth New Zealand companies looking to internationalise using a physical presence in offshore markets.

Most Beachheads companies have revenues of at least $5million and are aiming for $100 million plus. Occasionally smaller companies, with exceptional opportunities and the ability to fulfil them are accepted.

Typical Beachheads companies:

• are globally ambitious
• have a well thought out and executable business plan
• have a thorough understanding of their target market
• have a strong and experienced management team
• have good independent governance.

Companies are eligible for Beachheads programme support for two years.

How to apply

To apply to join the Beachheads programme, companies should contacts NZTE. Companies already working with NZTE, and wanting to join, should contact their client manager and ask for an application form.
