Ken Stevens, Business Champion Export Year 2007

As Business Champion, Ken Stevens provided private-sector leadership that ensured Export Year 2007 had a tangible and positive impact on the export sector.

Mr Stevens is the founder, owner and chairman of Glidepath Ltd, a world leader in airport baggage handling and sorting systems. He has extensive and widely recognised exporting expertise and is well respected in the export sector.

Over the course of Export Year 2007, Mr Stevens worked with Government Ministers and officials, the Export Year 2007 Private Sector Reference Group and hundreds of business people involved in the export sector.

Mr Stevens hosted or presented at 108 events during Export Year 2007, reaching an audience estimated at well over 2500 exporters.  He also visited exporting companies, spoke to news media and hosted half a dozen forums for the Chief Executives and Founders of export firms.
