New Zealand sent a pavilion to the World Expo 2005, held in Aichi, Japan from 25 March to 25 September 2005. A web site was built to support the pavilion and to provide more information about New Zealand for a Japanese audience. It was taken offline in June 2006.

A fast-paced audiovisual presentation showcased more than 80 New Zealand businesses. Eight inspiring innovation heroes talked about what motivates them, and the challenges they have faced in developing their businesses.
