We work with ambitious, value-adding and knowledge-intensive companies who are scaling globally from New Zealand. These businesses and entrepreneurs come from every imaginable industry and sector, and their success is our success.
Knowing this compels us to work as one global team - 600 people based in 50 locations, working across 24 time zones and 40 languages to support New Zealand businesses in over 100 countries.
To guide New Zealand-based export companies and help them attain investment or funding, we need the best talent within a team of committed professionals. We require resourcefulness and a fresh outward way of thinking to create great innovation, products and ideas. We also value hands-on experience – most of our employees have had their most recent previous role in the private sector, giving us an advantage in understanding and delivering to our customers.
The benefits of being one of us
Beyond our commitment to our shared purpose, our people value personal growth, challenge, adventure and being part of a dynamic, flexible working environment.
We’re committed to roles and opportunities that challenge, enhance your skill set and provide the opportunity to make a real difference. We believe that our ongoing learning makes us better partners with our customers.
We’re adventurous, and we aim high. We aren’t afraid to take risks and push ourselves to achieve success for our customers. We take the same approach with our people. If you’re prepared to develop, we can offer ways to stretch and grow your personal capabilities. We offer in-house initiatives and tools, and we learn from one another. We also learn from the incredibly talented companies who are our customers. At any one time, a significant number of our team will be on a secondment either within New Zealand or in one of our overseas offices.
The diversity of our customer base and our global reach provides a real opportunity for professional and personal growth, and the opportunity to build lasting connections around the world.
Our team environment
We’re an ambitious team. We know that to guide New Zealand businesses, we must leverage our strengths as a people business. That means that we need all of our team members working together, tapping into the wealth of experiences, perspectives and styles that each of us brings to the workplace. Collaboration and diversity are key strengths for us. Your voice and contribution are valued.
We aim to offer a flexible working environment, with the tools and technology you need to do your job, and a flexible approach to how we work. Whether you are working at one of our large or small offices, or out and about, we'll help you succeed.
Take time for yourself
Life is busy, work is fast-paced, and we expect a lot from ourselves. It’s important to us that you take time out to do the other things you love. Wherever you work in the world, we want you to have work-life balance.
Annual leave varies by country, in line with local legislation, but we aim to be competitive and go beyond the minimum where we can. In New Zealand, this means five weeks of annual leave.
We know there are times in your life when you may need special benefits. For example, in New Zealand, we can offer the following on top of your five weeks’ annual leave and standard parental leave entitlements:
When you return to work after parental leave, we’ll pay any annual leave you’ve accrued at a rate based on your salary before leaving.
If your partner or spouse has or adopts a child, you’ll receive an additional five days of paid leave.
Does this sound like an environment where you would thrive? Check out these roles today.
