Our Latin American team is based in São Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile), Bogotá (Colombia) and Mexico City (Mexico).
Team culture and life in the region
We’re a team of around 30 friendly, diverse, market-centric people - responsible for enhancing the region’s organisational capabilities and helping New Zealand companies navigate Latin America’s ever-expanding, complex and sometimes bureaucratic environment.
NZTE’s Latin America region is a rewarding place to work and offers a wide variety of unique and exciting roles – from promoting export and investment opportunities, to supporting our customers to design their local business strategy. We are a team of individuals who are passionate about helping our customers understand the local culture and market, and to leverage ‘brand New Zealand’ in the region.
Our team is already working with around 100 customers doing business within the region. New Zealand shares a lot of similarities with Latin American countries, especially as food producers and exporters - so a central part of our story lies in what we can learn from each other to make our sectors more globally competitive, innovative and productive.
Some roles do require you to be able to travel, domestically or internationally - how often you might travel varies according to the position.
“What amazes me most is that NZTE is a learning company.” Nadia Alcantara, Business Development Manager, Brazil
