Thessa Brongers Bagu is a successful consultant, entrepreneur and investor from The Netherlands with over 15 years of experience and special expertise
in trade facilitation and business development. She moved to Nigeria in 2006 and was (co)founder of a couple of companies.

Since the year 2008 she has specialised in assisting foreign companies in accessing the Nigerian market, and developing their business in this country. Her company Naijalink Limited has built up a reputation for professionalism, integrity and service to companies from all over the world and every business sector Naijalink has also become the official representative of a couple of (European) government trade agencies.

In addition, she is co-founder of Ace Green Crops Ltd which is an innovative and customer focused start up in the agricultural sector. The business includes farming, packaging, logistics, marketing and an online store, as well as an outgrower network.

She held management and consultancy positions in internationally-operating companies as well as (non-) governmental organisations. In her early years in Nigeria she served as an economic advisor to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as well as the South Korean embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. Her period as Vice Chairman of the Board at one of Nigeria’s fastest growing companies further helped increase her understanding of the country.

Thessa holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University, The Netherlands. She has in-depth knowledge of the country Nigeria and an extensive business network on ground. Thessa was rewarded with a Nigerian chieftaincy title for her charity work, and is based full time in Lagos with her family.
