Andrew Dyer

Andrew is an experienced executive and company director. Currently, he is chairman of Zenexus, a major supplier of consumer products to the retail hardware industry, and the National Windfarm Commissioner for the Australian Government. 

Andrew’s professional career includes executive and operational roles in the utilities, telecommunications, information technology and professional services industries. He continues to advise a number of organisations in the private and public sectors and specialises in governance and operational performance. 

Current chair and board roles include Keystone Radiology, Cancer Council Victoria, the American Australian Association, the Good Foundation, Jamie Oliver Ministry of Food and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. 

In addition to his board and government roles, Andrew is a professional fellow at Monash University, where he assists with the University’s industry engagement programs and lectures at the Monash Business School. 

Previous board roles include chairman of the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman Council and Zenexus as well as serving on the boards the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Grampians Water, East Grampians Health Service and BrightSource Energy Australia. 

Andrew was a former Victorian Government Commissioner to the Americas, where he facilitated a number of significant trade and investment outcomes for the state of Victoria and Australia. 

His past industry appointments include chief operating officer of SMS Management & Technology and executive, operational roles at Indus International, Florida Power & Light Group, Ernst & Young and IBM. 

A former McKinsey & Co. consultant, Andrew holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with first class honours from Monash University and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
