Andrew is an experienced executive and company director.
He has served on many boards in both the private and public sector, covering a range of industries including health, insurance, energy, utilities, telecommunications, retail and distribution, education and the arts. In addition to his board portfolio, he currently serves as the National Windfarm Commissioner for the Australian Government - a role that was recently renewed and expanded after independent review to include large scale solar and storage.
Andrew’s professional career includes executive and operational roles. Today he continues to advise a number of organisations in the private and public sectors, specialising in governance and operational performance.
In addition to his board and government roles, he is a professional fellow at Monash University, where he assists with the University’s industry engagement programs and he delivers lectures to graduate and post-graduate programs.
He was a former Victorian State Government Commissioner to the Americas, where he facilitated significant trade and investment outcomes for the benefit of Victoria and Australia.
His past industry appointments include Chief Operating Officer of SMS Management & Technology, as well as Executive/Operational roles at Indus International, Florida Power & Light Group, Ernst & Young and IBM.
A former McKinsey & Co consultant, he holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with first class honours from Monash University, and an MBA from Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
