Matt has been a partner at Ernst & Young for 10 years, helping small and large company’s set-up, build and rebuild their business models and supply chains in ASEAN and Asia.
Matt has assisted companies in developing their Asia business plans for market entry; manufacturing foot print development; shared service centre location and development; intangible property migration; and head quarter location and set-up.
Matt has worked with New Zealand, Australia, US, European and Asian multinationals develop their supply chain footprints in Asia. This includes developing business models in the region that integrate corporate tax savings; Free Trade Agreement preferential treatment and supply chain efficiencies.
Matt is also a business owner, having set-up a business in Malaysia, and holds shareholdings in a number of other businesses in Singapore. Matt has also lectured at universities in Singapore and Malaysia on the subject of ASEAN business model and supply chain development. Matt was an adjunct professor at Singapore Management University (School of Accountancy) (2014); and is an adjunct professor at Malaysia Institute of Supply Chain Innovation (2014 and 2015).
