Mohit Khattar

Mohit Khattar brings nearly two and a half decades of rich experience in consumer facing industries - a decade of which has been spent in leadership roles in the food and grocery retail segment. He is as passionate about building fledgling brands as he is about retail. 

Mohit is currently stationed in Mumbai as the CEO of Baskin Robbins for India and South Asia. Prior to this he was the Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Nature’s Basket, India’s go-to destination for fine and gourmet food. In his over seven-year stint at the helm, he successfully crafted the vision for the business, re-positioned it and grew its scale and stature as a differentiated consumer-centric business. He also extended its services online - one of the first brick and mortar retailers to do so.  

Prior to Godrej, Mohit helped build and operate businesses with leading consumer-facing organisations in the lifestyle, FMCG and retail industries.  

Mohit has been recognised for his contribution through numerous industry awards such as the Top 50 Retail CXOs for the year in 2008 and in 2012; Brand Slam Leadership Award in 2012; Who’s Who Professional of the Year in 2013; Most Talented Retail Professional in 2015 and also internally within the Godrej group for Outstanding Consumer Centricity in 2011 and as an Outstanding Brand Ambassador in 2014.  Mohit is a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA in Marketing.
