Rafael D’Andrea

Rafael D'Andrea is the director of ShopperAge and founding partner of The Toolbox Group. Rafael is a Beachheads advisor in Brazil, based in São Paulo. He has nearly 20 years' experience as a trade marketing professional, and has previously worked as manager of channel development in companies such as Bunge Alimentos, Kraft Foods and Danone, and as professor of Trade Marketing and Channel Management at the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (Insper). 

Rafael graduated in business administration from the Faculdade de Economia Administração e Contabilidade da Universidade de São Paulo (Faculty of Administration and Accountancy - University of São Paulo). He specialised in marketing at the University of California-Berkeley (United States) and undertook postgraduate study in economics at the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Econômicas da Universidade de São Paulo (Institute of Economic Research Foundation).

He is also a lecturer, and author of the book Shopper marketing - The new integrated marketing strategy for conquering the customer at the point-of-sale (A nova estratégia integrada de marketing para a conquista do cliente no ponto de venda), and co-author of the book Trade marketing - Distribution strategies and sales execution (Estratégias de distribuição e execução de vendas).
