Dr David Robb

Dr David Robb is a professor at the University of Auckland, and a visiting professor and research fellow at Tsinghua University.
David has lived and worked for seven years in Canada and China respectively. He co-directs the Consortium for Operational Excellence in Retailing in Greater China.
David seeks to improve operations and supply chain performance through research, teaching, and advising organisations. He is mindful of the need for practice to be highly ethical, incorporate the intrinsic worth of people, take uncertainty into account, and be aligned with strategy.
He has consulted in the apparel, building products, pharmaceutical, and postal services industries, and advised NZ firms entering the China market. David is extensively involved in executive education including the Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA (ranked #2 by The Financial Times), and has taught short courses for firms including Sinopec, Sanofi Aventis, Fletcher Building, and Whitcoulls. He has published more than 35 international journal articles, with total citations exceeding 600.
