Kevin is extensively experience in the advertising and marketing industries. He has just moved on from a 29 year stint with the global media agency Starcom. His previous positions include the role of global client director on both Coca-Cola and P&G.
Kevin's leadership role with Coca-Cola globally expands over 20 years and three geographies. The role saw him lead the agency to assignment wins in the US, China, Russia and other key geographies.
Kevin has 17 years of global experience with nine years living in London, two years in Hong Kong and a further six years in New York. During his New York years, Kevin rose to the level of worldwide media director for the agency DMB&B.
His career has been in the world of strategic media planning, especially against younger audiences that require a deep understand and insight into their media use and habits. This requires a strong understanding of ‘what’s next’ and the ability to look forward.
Kevin is now based in Auckland and has a number of key governance roles where his advertising and marketing expertise is put to use on the TVNZ and Kiwbank boards. He is also involved one the boards of the charity organizations: the Dingle Foundation and Halberg Foundation. He also has an ongoing consultancy role with Tourism NZ as their global digital specialist and advisor.
