Kori is an award-winning restaurant manager and accomplished chef who can offer her expertise to New Zealand food and beverage companies keen on expanding in Southeast Asia.
Her career swept her away from New Zealand 20 years ago, to some of the world’s major business and entertainment hubs of Australia, the UK, Spain, the Caribbean and Malaysia.
Kori has been immersed in Singapore’s burgeoning dining and entertainment scene for 10 years and now heads up the Food and Beverage (F&B) consultancy she founded, Hatch & Ko.
Keen to keep her links to home, she can draw on her extensive experience to help New Zealand companies navigate the F&B sector. Her knowledge spans from recruiting quality staff, establishing standard procedures to maintaining sustainable operations and beyond.
Kori began her career in Wellington at Paradiso, and later worked alongside Michelin-starred chefs at the exclusive London catering company Rhubarb, for discerning clientele including the British royal family, before moving to Sydney and took up a role as general manager of renowned Rockpool Bar & Grill.
In Singapore, she was general manager of one-Michelin starred Osia before she managed Marina Bay Sands’ Sky on 57 with celebrity chef Justin Quek. She then managed her own restaurant Bar-Roque Grill and in 2016 received the prestigious Awards of Excellence Restaurant Manager of the Year.
