Rhianon is NZTE’s Trade Commissioner for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. This is Rhianon’s second role as a Trade Commissioner with NZTE, having held the role of Trade Commissioner for Chile, Peru and Bolivia most recently. 

Rhianon has held a number of other roles at NZTE, including International Market Manager for South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa based in Auckland, and as a Business Development Manager in NZTE's Santiago office where she worked with companies whose strategy was to engage more effectively in South American value chains.

Rhianon's professional, educational and personal experiences span 20 countries, primarily in Asia, Latin America and Oceania. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Geography and Spanish) degree from the University of Auckland and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business (International Marketing) from Auckland University of Technology. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational Japanese.
