Hi I’m Dan Taylor. I’m the Trade Commissioner based in London, which means that I lead a fantastic team of business development managers who work with New Zealand companies that are either entering or growing in the UK and Ireland market.

I love the energy that the place has. I love the fact that we get to work with a huge number of really innovative and capable New Zealand companies to help them grow on the world stage, and I love that we’re working for an organisation that has a real cause at its heart. We’re helping to grow New Zealand’s economy and to me that’s really important.

We work really hard for the good of our customers but we have a huge amount of fun doing it. We realise that we’ve got an important job but we want to make sure that we really enjoy the people that we work with, ah, both internally and externally, and we really want to make sure that at the end of each day we can go away, having had a great day, and having achieved something. I’m incredibly proud to be a part of a wonderful NZTE team. We work hard, we play hard, and I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather work.

We're looking for smart people to work with smart export businesses
