The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade – Manatū Aorere is hosting a virtual hui on Māori interests in the recently signed NZ-UK Free Trade Agreement.
Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Trade and Export Growth (Māori Trade) Rino Tirakatene will deliver opening remarks, followed by remarks from Treaty partner representative groups involved in the NZ-UK FTA process.
The hui is an opportunity for kōrero on the NZ-UK FTA as it relates to a range of Māori interests, including market access opportunities, the Māori Trade and Economic Cooperation chapter, and other elements across the FTA. Further information about Māori interests in the FTA can be found here.
