New Zealand Businesses Unlock New Opportunities in Brazil
A delegation of New Zealand’s leading businesses operating in Brazil joined Minister for Trade, Hon Todd McClay, on a mission to South America’s largest and most influential market to strengthen connections and unlock new commercial opportunities.

The visit to São Paulo - Brazil’s biggest city, with a population of over 11 million - saw 13 new commercial partnerships, announcements and deals signed, as well as a significant number of new connections made. The deals are worth an estimated $100 million in trade revenue over the next three years.
The businesses taking part in the programme showcased New Zealand’s world-class solutions, particularly in the areas of tech and innovation, agribusiness and advanced manufacturing.
Some of the announcements included:
Mindhive Global, a leader in AI-powered leather grading technology, signed an agreement with JBS Couros, the world’s largest leather processor, to bring Mindhive technology to the Brazilian market.
Leading communications company, Tait Communications entered into an agreement with Santos Futebol Clube in the State of São Paulo - the partnership will see Tait supply communications systems to Santos’ stadium.
Software company, AD Instruments, signed an MoU with São Paulo State University (Unsep) to supply its technology to the university’s Jaboticabal and Araraquara campuses. AD Instruments also agreed to renew its partnership with ANIMA Educacao, a leading private education provider in Brazil.
Gallagher Animal Management announced the establishment of its new sales and service office in Brazil, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion across Latin America.
Loadscan, a global leader in load volume scanning technology, announced the opening of a new branch in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, a landmark for the company’s ongoing expansion in Latin America.
Foot Science International announced a new distribution partnership in Brazil, as part of the company’s commitment to expand Formthotics’ global presence. While in Brazil, Formthotics also revealed it was transitioning to sustainable materials across its entire product range, sourced from Brazil multinational, Braskem, a Brazilian leader in plant-based materials.
Framecad, a world leader in steel framing innovation, signed two MoUs to supply Brazilian companies, Placlux and Steel Corp, with two of its systems.
Heath-tech company, AROA Biosurgery, celebrated the signing of a sales contract expanding its healthcare operations in Brazil.
Gym giant, Les Mills, signed an agreement to expand its recently launched global pilates programme, Les Mills Pilates, into the Brazilian market.

This mission has helped raise the profile of New Zealand businesses already operating in Brazil and will continue to open doors for exporters wanting to enter the market.”
