Pitching your business

Practice, practice, practice – know your material well so that you can deliver your presentation in a relaxed and engaging manner.

It is always a good idea to customise your pitch as much as possible by researching your customers thoroughly. Make sure you understand their needs and how your product or service addresses their pain points.

Describe your product or service benefits concisely and persuasively. You can further strengthen your pitch by placing a monetary value or quantifying benefits where ever possible.

Finally, be prepared to answer direct questions or even objections in response to your pitch, and be sure to back up your answer with evidence or positive solutions. If in doubt, seek help from presentation training or communication consultants to help you refine your pitch messaging and techniques.
